Senyaka is Sri Lankan, but I guess if Bishop/Gateway/Manifold are close enough, maybe he is too.

I have a lot of friends from Sri Lanka who also identify as black, and some who don’t. The friends who do are this complexion.

I like when they introduce 'All New, All Different X-Men' so mine would be led by Bishop with
X-Force's Tempest,
Intruder's Lightbright,
Cloak & Dagger's Cloak,
Morlock's Tarbaby,
and a new mutant that's Afro-Mexican.

They would need to rename this character before it ever saw print in the main X-men team in this current climate. Marvel would catch hell 50 ways from Sunday and deservedly so. Epithets, even those used within a culture, are still hurtful and demeaning. But the reality is this is a racial slur. I've heard it a few times back when I lived in Texas.
