Who can use Cerebro?

Hey all, help me out!

Besides Charles Xavier and Jean Grey, what other mutants (hero or villain) are strong enough telepaths that they can canonically operate Cerebro? And if not in canon, let's hear the conjecture and theories about who else maybe could.

I recall Psylocke using it during The Twelve storyline. Sage probably has as well during Claremont's run but I can't remember a specific time.

If Hickman Jean can use it, anyone can.

The cuckoos, Monet , Rachel ,Exodus , mentallo, and Selene/sinister are all strong enough to use it.. Cable too but his skill level is all over the place.

I would also argue that Sage, Dani, and Karma should be able to use it.. I would also think David should be able to in a pinch.

There were automatic settings that enabled it to detect signatures the system was already familiar with going back to the Lee/Kirby run. Initially Cyclops was the only one on the team to even know of Cerebro's existence.

Seems that anyone with psychic ability could give it a go.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Wolverine used Cerebro during the Neo storyline. But he didn't use it like a telepath would, but rather it allowed his brain to become visible enough for Jean Grey to sense it despite being on the other side of the planet in Russia. She then used the extra power from Cerebro to fight Tullamore Voge in the Astral Plane. Or something like that. The art was not as good as the writing in these issues and everything suffered as a result.

Depending on the model, any mutant can use it.

Famke Janssen's Jean could use it, but only with great effort and headaches.

I don't remember that, I do remember that back in New Mutants vol2/Academy X she had to ask Emma to use it for her, because Dani isn't a full telepath.

Anyone with generic telepathy can use it.

Another thing is that the better telepath you are and the more you practice, the better results you will get, of course. Using Cerebro to resurrect people or alter the database seems to be quite complex and only top tier like Xavier, Jean, Quentin and probably Emma can.

Most of them never did, so that is not proven.

I think the ones who used it so far were: Xavier, Jean, Emma, Psylocke and the Cuckoos. I do not be;lieve Rachel, Monet, Exiodus Mentallo ever used Cerebro or Cerebra.

What do you think about Shadow King?

We don't often see Sinister using his telepathy. Do you think he'd be up to snuff?
