Pretty sure they are. Cosmic stories such as the Infinity gems are still a part of the MCU. Just look at Wandavision. The Celestials are appearing in the Eternals movie too. We will see the Phoenix, no doubt.

If Aaron had committed to his super hero arms race concept, the book would be way better. There's a bunch of cool stuff he came up with, but the need of grandiose storytelling for its own sake is absolutely killing the book. It also doesn't help that the MCU is done with the Avengers team as the center of their universe, at least for now, and the comics division doesn't seem to know what to do with that. The last good Avengers story was No Road Home, after all, and that wasn't even with the main team.
Infinity Saga, House of M, Ragnarok all are grandiose stories that made the MCU, and made Disney a lot of money. There´s that to think about. You just need good screenwriters, directors, cast, and special effects to pull it off.

You can have all that sure...but it realy won't matter if the fans don't want it.

They had two tries to get it right and they didn't, move to some other event like the Morlock Massacre or Executioners Song or something else besides the Phoenix.

Yes, why the hell would Marvel want to invest in that story for the 3rd time?

Considering Marvel avoided re-threading Sony stuff for Spider-Man, I hope X-Men gets the same treatment.
