    Yeah, it's not terribly 'new' to make an original seven Justice League that's literally *the original seven.*

    I've always loved the idea of a 'back half' Satellite League. Green Arrow, Black Canary, Elongated Man (and Sue), Atom, Hawkwoman, Firestorm and Red Tornado (with Zatanna taking a more 'pops in to provide cryptic plot seeds' role like the Phantom Stranger, but not being one of the rank-and-file).

    But I'd also love for a League lineup that included Vixen, Booster Gold and Black Lightning. I am legion, I contain multitudes. Or I'm really fickle.

    I would go with heroes who are more public.

    Wonder Woman
    Flash
    Green Lantern
    Aquaman
    Martian Manhunter
    Black Canary
    Triumph (who would die within the first year)

    I would rather have Superman as a reserve member and Batman going back to the more "urban legend" type character who backrolls the Justice League but only shows up occasinally.

    Batman is still standoff-ish at this point and wouldn't just jump into a group so the Vigilante takes his spot. Cyborg needs to start his career with the Titans, so it's Robotman, Dr. Robert Crane..who is also a noted scientist.

    I liked how the 2000's cartoon had Hawkgirl in for Aquaman, so, since she wasn't available, I stayed bird-y and went with Black Canary instead. the other 6 are who you'd expect.

    there are different characters I might have picked if they were part of the poll, but this leaves me at Big 7 - Arthur +Dinah

    Batman- Time Tossed Terry. Bruce is retired. Too many injuries that wouldn’t heel enough for him to be Batman. Serves as the voice in Terry’s head
    Black Canary
    Green Lantern- Earths only Lantern
    Atom- Ray Palmer
    Aquaman- Grumpy bearded harpoon hand dude
    Flash- Wally. There were team ups before but nothing was ever serious enough for an official league before the Crisis, Which Barry died heroically defending everyone agdd against. So that’s the7 thst grab me right now

    If I could control one DC Reboot this would be my/the true big 7 for today!

    1. Batman
    2. Superman
    3. Wonder Woman
    4. Flash (Barry Allen even though Wally is the best Flash. Fight me)
    5. Green Lantern (Hal Jordan even though I perfer John or Kyle. No real "best" here.)
    6. Martian Manhunter
    7. Black Lighting

    In my opinion ....this is what the new 52 should have been. I know Aquaman is missing from the lot but I would intro him after the first 8-12 issue with that arch where Ocean Master is trying to take over the surface world. Rounding the team off to 8.

    I think each generation maybe should get their own League. If the League were to form today, I would want Kimiyo Hoshi, Red Star, Tempest, John Stewart, Empress, Aztek, and Vixen

    It looks like for good or ill, for readers of comics, the names rule! For wider audiences, the success of MCU easily indicates that even Zed tier names can become A list if the quality and consistency are fair to middling.
