Default Pitch a direction: Will Harper

This one is a lot more unorthodox since Will doesn't exist in the comics. Still, I do like the idea of Roy having a clone.

If you were to integrate Will into the comics, how would you go about it? What direction would you give him?

Roy is barely used in the comics , He doesn't need a clone.

Do we really need two different characters to inhibit two different eras of the same character instead of just saying it's the same guy changing through different periods of his life?

Will doesn't have to follow whatever story Roy does.

I'd introduce him as a relative of Roy's and give him a different ID/skillset etc. He might have a metahuman ability but it's not essential.

A few appearances later we reveal he's a clone like how they did in season 1.

Will is created by a company specializing in genetic research working with a supervillain conspiracy to replace people with superhuman clones. He is freed by Jade.

    Two directions:

    * Moves to Canada and works with an organization tasked with dealing with metahumans.

    * Teams up with Jean-Paul Valley as both are genetically manipulated beings.

Or you could have other existing characters fill those roles or just use Roy.

For one thing, Roy isn't genetically manipulated.

Just to be clear, I'm not asking to get rid of Roy at all.
