Shame that they had to wipe his development. I wish they'd stuck with their previous explanation that they couldn't go back because they were from a different parallel universe and not the main one's past.

Then they could've sent them back to it with their memories intact and followed up with a spinoff about how things change in that world with them using their knowledge of the (possible) future and what they do differently with that knowledge and the extra character development they've had.

But... they didn't. To say that any of the O5 were wiped of their development is to ignore what is plainly written on the page.

The O5 went back in time and immediately after they left, the adult O5's memories of what they did as teens in the modern day were restored. Therefore all of the developments that teen Bobby had went to his adult self.

I wonder how Bobby feels about how he would have never came out if wasn't for time shenanigans. He would have ended up marrying some poor girl and living in a loveless marriage.
