Default A Quiet Place Part 2

I just saw the movie today, as someone who hasn't seen the original, I enjoyed it.

    Pros
-Each of the four main characters were compelling in their own right. Unlike many horror movie protagonists, no one felt like expendable cannon fodder.
-Great performances from everyone in the cast.
-Extremely suspenseful and tense. Jump scares were used in a way that felt earned.
    -Effective sound design
    -Terrific cinematography and camerawork.

    Cons
-Through the majority of the film, the family is split into two groups, which was an odd storytelling choice that led to some confusion at times.
-The creature design doesn't do a convincing job of looking like an actual breathing creature that could exist somewhere in the universe.
-The cgi used to create the monsters was rather jarring. It would've suited the film better if the filmmakers didn't show the creatures as frequently as they did.
-They ripped off Signs having the aliens' weakness being water. It's a little silly, but not a major gripe.
-The ending was anticlimactic. Nothing set up in the film was resolved by the end.
