So it's a Starhawk kind of thing? Intresting, considering that in the final issues of the 90's GotG it was discovered that Quasar/Wendell was Stakkar's father.

    Peace

    Quasar is Starhawk's father?

He was shown to be so at the end of the 90's GotG series, if memory srrves me well. Kismet was supposed to be the mother, I think.

    Peace

That's funny, because weren't Kismet and Starhawk in Guardians 2?

It was a fun issue. Reminded me a lot of the Legion of Super-heroes.
It's a shame about the costumes, thought. Cabal's looks were much better. These are just generic as all hell.

I do wonder why Hercules was absent this issue. Maybe he's on some secret mission?

Hopefully they revert Hercules back to the womanizing, brawling joker Hercules regular Marvel fans all know and love.
Hercules is on the cover to issue #15 so he may get a start there.
This issue was the best of this current series imo.
I am a Marvel fan preferably cosmic storylines, especially Thanos or Dark Phoenix related, when both the Avengers and the X-Men are involved count me in, loved the original Uncanny Avengers series.
Not a fan of any of the new characters.

Interesting interview with Al Ewing: https://www.gamesradar.com/inside-th...ching-jackets/

Among other things, he talks about Nova's return to traditional superheroics, expanding the roster even further, and the team's new jackets.

So Marvel Boy and Hercules can swap place, while Quasar and Quasar can also shift place,
so many shifting place going on.

Mantis is also on the team and she didn't appear either. Maybe they'll appear as reinforcements for one of the missions in next issue.

I mean, when Marvel Boy is here, technically Hercules won't be,
cause they would basically exchange place through the quantum switch,
the same way Wendell and Avril switch place.

Yes, in the 90s run of GotG, Stakar was the son of Wendell and Kismet, thus the same reincarnation as Kismet and Warlock,
but that was only canon for Earth-691 I think, for Earth-616, we don't know,
Dan Abnett had Aleta become Starhawk and genderbend Stakar on many occasions so I really can't tell at this point.

Jason Aaron took that characterization and gave it to Thor, so Marvel went the Iceman route.
