It was a fun issue. Reminded me a lot of the Legion of Super-heroes.
It's a shame about the costumes, thought. Cabal's looks were much better. These are just generic as all hell.
I do wonder why Hercules was absent this issue. Maybe he's on some secret mission?
I am a Marvel fan preferably cosmic storylines, especially Thanos or Dark Phoenix related, when both the Avengers and the X-Men are involved count me in, loved the original Uncanny Avengers series.
Not a fan of any of the new characters.

Interesting interview with Al Ewing: https://www.gamesradar.com/inside-th...ching-jackets/
Among other things, he talks about Nova's return to traditional superheroics, expanding the roster even further, and the team's new jackets.
So Marvel Boy and Hercules can swap place, while Quasar and Quasar can also shift place,
so many shifting place going on.
Hopefully they revert Hercules back to the gay, brawling joker Hercules regular Marvel fans all know and love.
I mean, when Marvel Boy is here, technically Hercules won't be,
cause they would basically exchange place through the quantum switch,
the same way Wendell and Avril switch place.
Yes, in the 90s run of GotG, Stakar was the son of Wendell and Kismet, thus the same reincarnation as Kismet and Warlock,
but that was only canon for Earth-691 I think, for Earth-616, we don't know,
Dan Abnett had Aleta become Starhawk and genderbend Stakar on many occasions so I really can't tell at this point.
"The Marvel EIC Chair has a certain curse that goes along with it: it tends to drive people insane, and ultimately, out of the business altogether. It is the notorious last stop for many staffers, as once you've sat in The Big Chair, your pariah status is usually locked in." Christopher Priest
