I hope Sideways gets his own comic again

I really liked Sideways as a character and I hope he returns in his own series again.

I was more of a Damage guy, but Sideways was pretty good, so yeah, I’d be interested in him having a second outing.
They really need a new costume design though. The budget Spider-man look really didn’t do it for me. Plus, he looks better without the mask.

The creation of Sideways never made sense to me when they had just revamped Vibe with almost all the same powers a few years earlier. They literally had a character with almost the exact same powers but with the added plus of having name recognition just sitting there on the shelf.

Well, yes.

Vibe didn't connect with audience when he debuted. He was more of an steretype and on the other hand his powers, appearance and origins were related to a musical fad which... faded soon.
However, Geoff Johns made an interesting work rebuilding the character and giving him a clear origin, context and redefinition of his powers. One of the few good things from the New52. Also helps to the character his presence in the CW Flash show, where he had a relevant role.

Back on topic, yes, Sideways it is a good character with possibilities and could be good to see him again. However I don't think he is among the actual DC directive at the moment. He had some points against him: His similitude to Spider-Man (something really intentional), the fact he was a favorite of DiDio and being tied to an event are among them. However his conection to the Dark Multiverse could be an angle with more potential to explore.

I also must add than the abilities of Vibe and Sideways are not similar, but I admit than both characters can be in similar roles.

He looked a little too much like Spider-Man, but he's a hero that would be a shame to let him be forgotten.

By the way, where is Vibe now? The last time I saw him was in Forever Evil.
