This was easily one of the finest "Part Of A Crossover..." issues I have ever read.

Ewing is the best there is at writing tie-in issues that are also part of ongoings imo. He really chooses to do them because they fit with what he's already doing for the book and they're always vehicles for telling his larger story.

He's kind of a cosmic thaumaturge. A thaumaturge is supposed to be able to travel by levitating and asking the Earth to revolve beneath them. As the Universal Manifold, Eden asks the Universe to move and warp around him.

That's not actually what a thaumaturge is, but the second sentence is accurate.

(Thaumaturge literally means "miracle worker")

yeah I think mentalo and cortez are too obvious, im gonna guess its one of the teleporters actually since they would have the means to feed info on their downtime by just teleporting away compared to sending the info by computer that has a chance of being tracked.

Yeah, I suspect a teleporter too, I get the feeling it could be Blink(maybe coz she was a villain in Necrosha and I hadn't read an issue with her since)

If it isn't Cortez, I think Vanisher is probably the most likely candidate. He's the only teleporter on staff who hasn't ever really shown loyalty to either the heroic mutants or Magneto. Frankly, he seems less interested in the mutant cause than his own personal enrichment, and he has more ambition than Mentallo.

Yeah, clearly it is, if anyone's going to take a serious beating off panel in this era you can be certain Banshee's going to be one of them.

No, he was on Krakoa fighting one of Knull's dragons along with Magneto and Sunfire in the last issue.

No, he just was being used as wallpaper, flying around aimlessly, while Cortez powered up Sunfire in #2.

Anyone living in the UK today would have finally got this delivered to their pandemic stripped houses.

Ewing is doing such good work, actively interconnecting to the most exciting parts of HOX/POX, while also writing something charming in and of itself. People better be buying this, especially if we’re getting more into the Orchis stuff.

This is the one X book that better not die on me, because it means I’ll finally have something to replace my old Stormwatch stories that, because of the actions of said writer, now belong in the trash.

wow, I had no clue this came out last week. Good to see Manifold get a spotlight issue but it didnt really explain his powers any better. He is a teleporter despite the book saying he isnt

I think it would be more accurate to say he isn't JUST a teleporter. That cloaking trick he used to spy on Gyrich isn't teleportation, after all.
