Default Howabout : "Marvel Villains - The END"

How do you think it will end for the bad guys of Marvel?

Would love some one-shots and minis about the final days of Magneto, Skull, Doom etc.

The Magneto story could feature an elderly Erik and his legacy. Was he a hero, a villain or both?

    YOUR ideas?

In the end all of the heroes will be killed off, many at the hands of the remaining villains. The heroes will have all been dead for over a century at this point with no new souls arising to step into that void. Seeing that there is truly no hope left for creation, TOAA will relinquish its claim to existence and TOBA will at last reign supreme. Or so TOBA thinks.

The departure of TOAA will bring about an imbalance that cannot be corrected.

One by one all of the great villains will try their hand at repairing what their efforts have wrought. And one by one they will fail. Some will attempt to flee to another reality only to find that reality collapsing too. Some will seek shelter outside of all reality only to find that they cannot. They reach the edge of understanding only to see Beyonders and countless other entities that existed outside of everything being wiped from the face of existence. There is nowhere to escape to and nowhere to hide.

Thanos will seek solace in Death only to find that Death, too, offers no comfort. Even the abstracted cosmic constructs -- Life and Oblivion -- are uncreated in the end. Before he succumbs, too, TOBA, unsheathes an Ultimate Nullifier and trains it on TOAA and every aspect of existence that he has ever known. But it's not enough.

When everything within and without is truly gone, TOAA will settle on its perch, sigh and weep. All alone again. And no further desire to dream.

In a way Doom had a final story in 2099 World of Tomorrow. In the recent mini Avengers of the Wasteland, which IIRC takes place in the future of Old Man Logan, he was attempting to set up a sort of "suicide by cop" because he was diagnosed with incurable cancer.

Most endings of villains happen in the final adventures of the heroes or in any "marvel hero-the end" timeline.

SPIDER-MAN LIFE STORY showed us the final end of the Green Goblin, Venom, Kraven, many others, and then Doctor Octopus.

The most interesting way to do it is show things from the villain's perspective. We see a lot of things from the hero but the framing is different here and that's why I find the idea of the final days of a villain so interesting.

Imagine if you will a day in the life of a villain. Say Green Goblin and we see what an average day looks like to him, and then it turns out to be his last. Imagine if we saw his last scheme but from his viewpoint through the haze of the goblin formula.
Another idea is that Venom has a memory of all of its hosts. What if one day it developed the alien version of Alzheimer's and couldn't remember which Venom it was anymore. It's constantly flipping back and forth as its host is desperately trying to hold on.

That is incredibly bleak and saddening. Not bad.

Funny enough, Venom did have a "The End" comic recently, written by Adam Warren.

Thanks. I was going for a truly dark ending that would work well as a What If? story.

Thanos Wins was an interesting story for Thanos. He wouldn’t accept defeat unless it was at his own hand - and even that didn’t technically work (because present Thanos found another way to “win”)

I imagine for most villian teams it would be like the golden girls but with only sophias' and dorthys'.
