They don't even need to honestly, if this is an entirely different Superman he doesn't need to be Hoechlin and can be at the beck and call for a reappearance if the story requires it compared to Hoechlin who has a whole other show to shoot. Though the fact that we haven't even heard a thing about casting could definitely mean he'll be faceless so they could be holding for Tyler

Seems to be watering things down. We had Routh as Superman alongside Hoechlin already.
Is it possible this is a reaction to Spider-man: NWH where we had the 3 cinematic Spidey's altogether and that proved a monster hit?
