Default Will AI like DALL-E eventually fully replace the need for comic book artists?

    Given how DALL-E works...

...could an improved version or something a bit more advanced completely and utterly eliminate the need for comic book artists?

Drawing multiple characters in sequential images in an engaging way seems beyond the capacity of an AI alone.

Even if this works, it’ll need significant human input, which makes that person the equivalent of an artist using a program.

This is already nailing multiple images of the same or multiple subjects (ANY subject), including sequences of those subjects, and this is a very basic, very primitive and "low-tech" version of this tech.

But would that still qualify as "drawing"? Would one even require artist skills in this case?

This already doesn't require that much input to begin with. Just provide it a description of what you want to see and the manner you want to see it in and it conjures up a precise image matching that description.

It might for people who are only interested in comics as product. For those of us who enjoy them because they're art made by humans, for humans, no.
