Not them figuring out that Peter wasn't Peter. That was fine. What annoyed me was them beating supervillains on their own. That was just ridiculous.
This logic only works when you ignore the context around it, and just make it out to only be that they effortlessly beat up villains.
Like what is so offensive about Aunt May tricking the Chameleon into drinking tea she laced with sleeping pills?
It's not like she held him down and forced the pills down his throat.

There are a lot of superheroes whose powers are so large in scope that they could solve all Earth problems in a day if they wanted, they could also go on to solve problems on a way bigger scale than just Earth with the same easiness. There is just no logic in superhero comics.

It's just Chameleon though. I have no issue believing that without the element of surprise his disguises give him, MJ could beat the **** out of him with a baseball bat. He's not much of a supervillain.

I guess all that spy training and experience meant nothing in the end./s

Really? He has no other useful skills than disguises?

Unless I somehow missed something Chameleon's not a character who's a threat because he's an especially good fighter.
Physically for all intents and purposes he should be a normal guy.

Yeah and Hawkeye is a normal guy too. That doesn't mean he's completely helpless when you take away his bow.

I've never been in a fight in my life and I'm pretty sure I could take Chameleon.

Like if she'd taken down Venom or Kraven with a baseball bat, it would be a whole other thing.

He has his sword skills to fall back on.

Hawkeye is also a skilled and experienced hand to hand fighter, versed in multiple fighting styles with exceptional aim.
It's not the same, by any stretch
