Pretty Sure Michael Keaton could pull it off. DC has a perfectly opportunity to bring Old Bruce Wayne to life as well as Batman Beyond and they go with the Flash. #missedopportunity.

To me there are two Batmen. Bruce and Terry. Others have donned the cowl and did a great job but Terry [and bruce] are the one's that comes to mind when I think of a batman.

In my mind Terry's entire first run up to and including Batman Beyond should be canon. He's the one true successor to Bruce no one else.

I agree on him being the true successor, but there's nuance there. Others characters like Dick could have been but didn't want to. Terry also likely had it easier in some respects because Bruce mellowed with age and had to leave room for Terry to develop his own approach.

Terry will appear in this week's Batman: Urban Legends #7. I'm so ready for this!

Also the article mentions that DC is planning to publish Batman Beyond: Neo-Year #1 in April next year. Its story will probably be the continuation of the story in Urban Legends.
