Default War of the Bounty Hunters

    https://www.cbr.com/star-wars-marvel...ounty-hunters/

Boba Fett's struggle to get Han to Jabba was actually a considerable part of the comic version of Shadows of the Empire (The comic wasn't a straight adaptation of the novel, with many different scenes and a lot of focus on Boba Fett's quest to get Han to Jabba. In particular, Boba Fett dealing with IG-88 is one of the highlights and not only was part of the comic, but got an action figure two-pack with said comic excerpt included *and* a pop-up version!)

So I'm guessing this will be the Marvel/Disney take on this.

Man...that sounds like a whole lot of issues to tell what sounds like a pretty straight forward story. Why do they feel the need to stretch every plot into some 10 part epic? I mean, a zero issue to set it up, four tie in issues with the other ongoings and then a 5 issue mini? That seems like a bit much.

Both are still sort of semi-canon, in the sense that they were given a passing mention in some books.

A similar character to Xizor does appear in Clone Wars: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Ziton_Moj

I figured Soule had something planned with Boba's journey to get Han to Jabba.

Yeah, although ESB seems to lead into ROTJ's plot without much gaps (With Han and Lando the first wave to rescue Han, mentioning meeting on Tatooine etc) the official timeline says it took a year. so naturally there's room for delay; and it certainly helps with Luke, who seems considerably more adult and under control (for the most part) in ROTJ than in ANH and ESB.

I'm definitely hoping for something more than a cookbook appearance, to be clear! Xizor, specifically, fills a hole in SW that has yet to be adequately filled (imo) as a credible threat to the Empire from the other side.

I think Crimson Dawn could've worked that angle; however any real followup to Solo apart from maybe the Lando TV show is in limbo it seems.
