Zero, this is set inbetween the first and second movies so I doubt she will appear.

If this series sells like gangbusters and gets further seasons set post-Superman II, I could see them working out a deal with Helen Slater for her likeness rights.

That's a big if, but I could certainly see them doing it as Reeve's Superman and Slater's Supergirl never meeting is yet another of the missed opportunities of the 80s films. Reportedly, Reeve was set for a cameo, but it fell through.

Yep, if the big "missed opportunity" of the Reeve films is that he never fought Brainiac, then the second biggest "missed opportunity" is that him and Slater's Supergirl never met.

After that, though, what else is there? Fight with other Rogues? Don't think any of them are quite on the same level of "why has Brainiac never appeared on a Superman film". Kidder's Lois gets to remember that Clark Kent is Superman? Good premise, but could easily just become post-Crisis redux. An improved retelling of Superman IV?

You know, with how many references to that film there's been, I really wouldn't be surprised. "What if Superman IV was good" is, after all, one of the biggest "missed opportunities" with that film series.
