The whole point is that they are not!mutants and that they represent humanity using technology to out compete and replace mutant as the next stage of evolution. Making them mutants defeats the whole purpose of what Hickman is doing: the threat that machines pose to mutantkind in the form of Sentinels, post-humans and the Phanlanx.

Yeah like all the villians(which i think I was fine at the moment when it first came out) on Krakoa weren't enough. Now we need CoV. I guess it's now just a shenanigan for the current era.

Absolutely, CoV are my fave X-Men Villains, to make them mutants would be the worst thing Hickman could do, there is no need for that as Hickman already has Arraki, he could develop the Neo if he chooses to do so down the line,but should absolutely steer clear of tainting the vault

well i just reread SUPERNOVAS arc and POX #6. next up is X-MEN #1 (2019) AND X-MEN #5.

I got a great theory for next week's issue and and issue 19. I believe it will lead into the nimrod issue also in May.



also the cover for #19 looks like a spaceship in the background.

Welp I have no problem with it if they are machines vs mutants but like Apocalypse, I don't want them to be like "yeah we are the good mutant guys" therefore why not welcome them to Krakoa.
