Recently a "fan" threatened the creative team of Immortal Wonder Woman because they didn't like the content, specifically the SMWW themes.

This kind of behaviour is disgusting and should be condemned by everyone.

Social media only made the behavior faster and more public.

That's whacko. I absolutely despised Brian Azzarello's run Wonder Woman but I would never even think about threatening him over it. Voice your criticisms but let's draw the line there and let it go. It's sad to see that they are getting attacked, but I'm not surprised. There are a lot of creators that need to use blocking tools for trolls and "fans". Especially on Twitter. I think he and his other strawman account are gone now at least, and I hope this remains an isolated incident.

Hardcore shippers ruined fandoms. Before people would just debate online and then go back to reading fanfic. Now hardcore shippers want to threaten and bully creators.
