MCU Moon Knight inspiration from which run? poll

Should MCU Moon Knight heavily draw from:

- Dough Moench era (Marc/Steven/Lockley will be dealt with, but no "multiple personality disorder")
- Bendis era (Marc sees Spidey, Cap and Wolverine in his head, acts/combats like them as well)
- Ellis era (Mr. Knight)

I imagine it will be a mixture of the original Moench run with a bit of Huston & Ellis - as if all were stirred in a pot to make something new. It seems like they want to take him down an “Indiana Jones” approach from what they’ve told us so far. It’s difficult as he’s not really got a single story to follow in the comics that they can adapt.

I meant there’s so many different runs with so different takes on the character that is difficult to adapt a “definitive” Moon Knight.

I think you have to include a bit of Moench. I mean thats kinda of his origin story so you have to go there. But you can use the Ellis run as inspiration for sure.

Really? I only know Echo from Bendis' Daredevil run and his Moon Knight run.
Did Hawkeye (either Clint or Kate) interact with her in the comics? If yes, which ones would you recommend?

Ellis essentially did a mini, I wouldn't call him an "era". You Ellis fanboys give him way too much credit.

I'm pro Moench. Identities used for solving crime, not a mental disorder as retconned by Huston and run with subsequently from there by each writer. YAWN, so over that angle.
