Gerrit Cole doesn't get out of the third inning with the Red Sox leading 3-0 at Fenway.

How much they pay him to be their "post season" ace?

The green monster has deprived Stanton of 2 homers.

On paper, everyone said the Yankees were the prohibitive favorites in the AL, and as has been true more often than not of late, the Yankees show they are paper tigers, coming up short of an AL East title and coming up short to the Sox in the Wild Card.

Glad to have seen the Yankees go down in flames!

400+ million dollars worth of New York team payroll this year, and all it got was a single wild card game exit

Cardinals-Dodgers tonight, 8:10 (EST) from Chavez Ravine on TBS. Wainwright vs. Scherzer. Can the Redbirds continue their late season magical run and upset the defending World Champions in the NL Wild Card game?

IMO the Dodgers will be lucky to get through this one. Cards are hot, Dodgers just lost one of their best players...well, two, but one position player. That's got to be demoralizing, as well as hurt them in more tangible ways.

It was nice to see. Reminded me of the early 2000's around Boston.

I totally enjoyed watching the Yankees lose like that.

I have been upset at the Red Sox all season from the start. After the trade deadline I was even more upset. I am glad the Sox beat the Yankees last night and are moving on. I dont think they will do much in the playoffs but if they get through the Rays I will be one happy camper.
