Interesting. I assume they’d use Hoechlin but I suppose they could cast their own take as well.

It'll probably be Hoechlin, but I'd prefer if they did make their own take. Nothing against Hoechlin, just at the stage where I'd like to see more Superman takes across all media. The era of one guy representing the era's "definitive" take seems tired to me now, let's open up a bunch of unrelated Superman stuff already and just go.

Given the Busiek/Johns influence on the show (and since I’m currently rereading Secret Identity, I wonder if the idea for the festival in S&L came from SI? They should’ve had Clark dress up in a Superman costume for Halloween, I loved that bit in Secret Identity.

Yeah at this point I think it’s a good idea to have multiple Supermen in play. That way if one of them sucks at least we have other options. And it will hopefully get people to recognize that there is no “one true Superman” every version is someone’s take and some are good and some are bad.
