I just think it weird how easy it was for them to randomly create Kryptonians using humans. And I find it bizarre that people land like they are Hulk jumping instead of flying

I think it all just came together because of the Eradicator and X-Kryptonite.

It was easy to give them Kryptonian powers but they explained that they didn't always take. There was probably a lot more defective "kryptonians" than we actually saw.

You know I wonder where the show goes from here villain wise. We got the “Evil Kryptonian/Superman” out of the way, and I don’t want Clark to be encountering villains like Parasite or Toyman for the first time (he’s been Superman over 20 years by now), so I’m hoping they handle it like Kilgrave. Perhaps the recent-ish Invisible Mafia would be cool for Clark and Lois to come across.

No evil Kryptonians for the next season per the show runner. He wants to have a “Superman” big bad and a “Lois” big bad going forward, as well as using smaller and lesser known Superman Rogues for more “Killgrave” esque one offs

My first thought was more Kryptonite under Smallville. Didn't Pak introduce some kind of unseen Earth civilization in his Action run?

That was from All-Star originally, but nothing would make me happier than seeing stuff from Pak’s run get used. I don’t think that’s happening though, the comic eras that have the most influence on the show are the Triangle Era and the Johns/Busiek era. One show writer in particular I know hates everything New 52 (but he’s the one who came up with “Captain Luthor” actually being Steel so whatever).
