Bob Kane based Bruce Wayne off of Douglas Fairbanks, but he doesn't resemble any portrayal of Batman in the comics.
I believe that Alex Ross models his Batman after Gregory Peck and that's as good a choice as any.
The Dark Knight's kinda ruined me. Every time I envision a real life Bruce now, it's Christian Bale....just without the voice lol

I don't think Bruce Wayne should necessarily be modeled on anyone, it certainly hasn't hurt his comic depictions.
But this Alain Delon is pretty good, so is another guy: young Kevin Conroy

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft
Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”
I don't think Bruce was ever intended to look realistic. That wasn't Bob Kane's stye. Nor does the Bruce Timm Bruce Wayne look like someone who could physically exist in the real world.
Still, I remember in a 1960s letter column someone wrote that he used to look like Robert Goulet.
When Carmine Intantino was drawing him he looked more like Kevin McCarthy.
And I think by the time Neal Adams drew him, he looked more like Clint Eastwood.
All I’m going to say is that as long as this person has a strong chin, we are good. Bruce Wayne needs a strong chin.
Some of these fellas have great brow game. That certainly wouldn’t hurt Bruce either.
“Fleeing through the labyrinths with the hordes of the living dead fast upon them;
Once again they found themselves trapped in front of the abyss.”
I believe Sasha Bordeaux said it best...
