Yeah, but those are all from a month/ month and a half ago and before the shake ups at WB.

Deadline(who broke the news about the sequel) said today they had heard the series was being passed over by HBO Max and shopped elsewhere.

I read that I just thought that meant it wasn't going to be on HBO MAX or whatever not thet it was dead.

It's in the air if it finds home it's good to go, but if not it's dead. A few years ago Marvel TV made a New Warriors Pilot for Freeform who passed on it. Marvel TV shopped it around but found no home. So while hope isn't dead, shopping around is never a good sign either.

Wasn't JJ's Constantine supposed to start a connected DC supernatural live action universe? It would be a lot harder to do that if they're all on different streaming services.

Might as well ether way I'm happy for this.

Between this and Blade of the 47 Ronin we are getting 2 second movies I never thought would happen.

Hopefully they take the criticisms from the first film into account. First was a great supernatural film. Just not a good Constantine film. But Keanu is older now, so I'm sure he can deliver a more world weary John.

And hopefully he has gone back to the cigarettes. Can't have John without that.
