Which X-Men would make a good Avenger?

Ugh...no they gave the character a kid and then realized how dumb that was and decided to turn the kid into a dragon instead of just writing it out of the book via adoption.

When I consider all of the characters that were Avengers who I highly dislike, it's really a low bar. Any one of the X-men could be an an Avenger and contribute in a major way. Hell, even some X-men villains could join the Avengers and be an upgrade over some of the past Avenger rosters.

Hah...that strikes me as funny, but only because I'm the opposite. I find the majority of the X-Men/X-Universe a miserable slog so any member who can hop over to the Avengers, that's only doing that character a favor in my book.

Two of the three heroes I think are most worthy of joining the Avengers who never have are X-Men: Iceman and Dani Moonstar.

(The third is Lady Sif but that's neither here nor there.)

Agreed. A lot of the nineties X-Men (Cable included), with their pouches and ridiculous looking guns are so much cooler than characters like Jack of Hearts or Tigra? No. I would think Banshee, Nightcrawler, or Iceman would make great Avengers btw., because they all bring power sets that are unique to the team.

Exactly. Most of my favorite X-characters are the ones people don't immediately think of when someone says X-Men: Banshee, Dazzler, Sunfire, Warpath, Havok, Boom-Boom, etc.
