As well as Virmin Vunderbar from Mister Miracle. But The Guardian and the Newsboy Legion are Kirby creations.

I know they are, but you set the rule of made in the 70s, and not Golden Age characters.

But that cover includes Guardian II and Newsboy Legion II (clones of the originals) who were created by Kirby for Jimmy Olsen in the 70s.

    Nerd level, 9000...!

Soo, same applies for Sandman right. Gaiman's applies?

Wow. I can't believe you came up with a Teekl cover!

May depend on which "Sandman" you're referring to.

I don't know of any direct connection between Kirby and the Dream / Morpheus "Sandman" character by Gaiman.

However, since the 1970s Sandman (Garrett Sanford) was created by Joe Simon & Jack Kirby

I would assume later appearances by either Sanford or his replacement, Hector Hall, would be kosher.
(Hector as Sandman did appear in the Gaiman series.)

Duplicate entry removed. Looking for a new cover.

That's who I was thinking. I don't own all the limited Kirby series but I wonder if there are any more recognizable associate characters.

Since it is not the 40s Sandman, sure why not.
