I wonder how they'll handle Kraven with ATJ supposed to be playing him in a solo film.

Really? I say this as someone who saw the movie, but it sets up another potential villain entirely.

They're probably going to have spoilers:
two versions of Venom as wel
end of spoilersl, so, I don't think at this point it's gonna be a problem.

That's actually a really interesting choice, I thought.

    spoilers:
Easy enough to just have Tom Hardy's Eddie mess around in the MCU, but I guess he does have a supporting cast in his world and they do set up Toxin in another sequel so he had to go back, it really would have been interesting to see him interact with Holland's Spider-Man, I guess it was all done to just drop a symbiote into the MCU with no intention of a meeting.

Wow, I guess it's truly a BRAND NEW DAY for Spider-man.

Were the other two Spider-Men in the movie? I'm excited to see it after seeing some of the spoilers in this thread.

    spoilers:
In what was probably the worst kept secret in movie history, yeah they were in it. They were, no pun intended, amazing.

    spoilers:
I read somewhere that there was a silhouette of Black Cat so I wonder if the plan is for either Sony to do a movie with her or she'll be Hollands' next love interest.

I'm going to see this movie next week, and I know a good chunk of spoilers concerning a villain that I can't wait to see...but I must know... Is Tony Stark mentioned at ALL in this movie?

If anyone has seen the movie, if your interested please give your thoughts on what you would like to see in the next phase of MCU Spider-Man - be it in a trilogy or further appearances in crossover MCU projects?

Now that I think back on it, not really, at least not to the point it would detract from the movie if you don't want Iron Man stuff. The connection is obviously still there with Happy, but it isn't a focal point. The last of Tony's influence was in FFH.

Watched it yesterday, having slept on it, some takeaways....
(For context I didn’t like the previous two SM films with Holland)

-In NWH we see Iron Boy dissolve over the film as Spider-Man FINALLY emerges.
-NWH has the Shakespearean tragedy integral to Spider-Man that the last two films lacked.
-As such this actually feels like a SM film instead of the usual throwaway MCU movie.
-The multiversal stuff is handled beautifully. It’s a celebration of Spidey’s cinematic legacy, but it actually has a narrative function rather than being an opportunistic nostalgia cash in.
-Dafoe reasserts his claim as the No1 comicbook movie villain of all time.
-Despite the multiversal stuff Tom Holland is front and centre as the star of the show.
-This was the most emotional and enjoyable comicbook movie since the first Avengers for me.
-I had been wanting that final swing scene since Homecoming.

Loved the film, either an 8 or 9/10 for me.

I'm not saying she won't be coming back or be the main love interest again, just seems like it might start out Peter with new relationships before bringing old characters back.
