No, any spotlight that the Black Panther gets is the least he deserves. He has been and is an outstanding and deserving character. The problem with this run is a progression of 1 stupid story after another. From the use of a Celestial corpse as a headquarters to the present nonsense of this Phoenix steaming pile it has been a worthless and uninspired run.

This is the worst Avengers run in the comics entire history. Thank you for acknowledging my thoughts and I can only hope that there are brighter days ahead. People often say there's a light at the end of the tunnel, my fear is that that light is a dumpster fire. Although the hard to imagine anyone doing a less competent job than the present author. I have been an avid Avengers fan since volume one issue 69 and to see this present catastrophe cuts deep into my Avengers soul. Someday the sun will shine again, but I have serious doubts about it being any day soon. Excelsior!

The latest issue was such a joke that I couldn't even read it. The art was nice, at least. Poor Dane, he was humiliated by this Red Widow woman and I highly doubt Shanna and Zabu could bet American Eagle. He's a highly skilled fighter who can lift 15 tons. But who knows, maybe that stupid bird had a deeper connection with Shanna/Zabu, thereby giving her greater powers. :eyeroll:
