Rome - Not let it get cancelled so it doesn't have to cram 3 seasons worth of television into a few episodes or have the series end with the death of Brutus rather halfway through to avoid the aforementioned cramming.

Dawn Summers from Buffy the Vampire slayer. There is nothing about this character that was logical for the whole of the series.

I would have made a change to make her a long lost sister than coming up with such a convoluted plot as The Key and a god from a hell-beast dimension hunting her down, only for a group of Monks to send her to a Slayer they knew was no match for the god to keep her safe.

Dallas - I would've kept Donna Krebbs around for one more year and reunited Donna and Ray before they left the show.

The Big Bang Theory - I would've liked to have seen Penny get a legitimate acting job for at least a season before realizing it wasn't her dream after all and then going to work as a sales rep. Something like maybe a soap opera the way they did Joey on Days of our Lives on Friends.

The Big Bang Theory: I'd at least try one season without Sheldon as opposed to cancelling it.

Flash: I'd have made Savitar a resurrected Eddie instead of Evil Time Remnant Emo Barry.

The Conners: I question why they've retconned Jackie into a neurotic that never married nor had kids, but I'd retcon it back. In fact a lot of folks were hoping when they they fired Roseanne they'd just re-format the show into a Jackie spinoff and bring in the son she had with Fred.

Game of Thrones: Season 8 would have ended with Jamie and Cersei surviving the collapsing tunnel and digging themselves out, and then barging in on Jon and Daenerys when they are having their confrontation. Jamie, seeing that Jon can't bring himself to kill Daenerys, stabs her in the back as Cersei smiles in amusement and sits on the Iron Throne. And that's when Drogon shows up. Jon stands back at this point, and watches as the dragon sets Cersei and the Iron Throne ablaze. Jamie charges Drogon in a vain attempt to save Cersei (and despite Jon warning him), and is incinerated. Drogon, still needing to vent, breathes further fire on Cersei's remains and the Iron Throne, melting it down. Drogon then flies away with Daenerys' body.

Since Jon didn't kill Daenerys in this version, there's no need to banish him. However, he turns down the new throne in favor of Gendry Baratheon, stating that it's best that the Targaryen dynasty ends due to their unpredictability. Bran becomes the new Master of Whispers thanks to his Three Eyed Raven ability (in this case, he has literal 'little birds' to be his eyes), and the others get the same Council appointments.

Xena: Season 5 would have had Xena and Gabrielle (after dying in Rome in Season 4's finale) meeting with Hades in the Greek lands of the dead. Hades tells them they shouldn't be there because he's consulted with the Fates, and the Fates tell them the entire timeline is messed up. Helen of Troy, Julius Caesar, and a certain Holy Family to whom Gabrielle gave a donkey to in 'A Solstice Carol' shouldn't all be living in the same time period - in fact, Rome was founded by survivors of Troy in the original timeline. Furthermore, the timeline they're in is unstable, and going to collapse due to all the contradictions and inconsistencies.

So Xena and Gabrielle are sent back to Earth to find the damaged Loom of Fate and restore the timeline, and discover how the timeline got twisted in the first place. It turns out Ares (or rather, the Ares from the original timeline) was the one who did it, deliberately creating this new timeline so that Caesar and Xena would meet each other and help shape Xena into the conqueror Ares wanted her to be. In the end, chaos ensues, and the only way to save the world is to hit the reset on the Fates' loom, not knowing what timeline will result. Xena and Gabrielle find themselves in a new timeline -- but not together initially. They have to find a way to find each other, even if they ended up in separate time periods -- but eventually they do. Gabrielle worries that in this new timeline where Hercules ascended to Olympus long before the fall of Troy and Caesar wasn't around for a long time afterwards, that her Xena Scrolls are useless because historians won't believe them. Xena encourages her to keep writing Xena Scrolls anyway, telling of their adventures in the new timeline, and so they go forth, meeting both friends and enemies again in the new timeline. Oh, and eventually they shut Ares in that tomb that he was trapped in during the 'Xena Scrolls' episode. (and speaking of which, the in-universe producers of the show read far, far ahead into the Xena Scrolls before they even filmed the first episode, knowing that all the anachronisms were going to be resolved eventually).

The 70's show- season 8- keep Hyde and Jackie together and retool the show around him. Hyde basically became the 3rd Foreman kid anyway.

Big bang theory- Penny should've got a role where she had to be a shy needy girl. There should've been an episode where the roles are flipped- Penny's the nerdy girl pining for calm and collected Leonard. Raj should've gotten with Sheldon's sister Missy. Leonard's siblings should've been on the show.

Twin Peaks end the original series after the Leland Palmer's funeral episode.

Cut the Showtime revival season in half to make it more concise. For the love of god, I swear half that show was a still shot of Dale Cooper drinking coffee

That 70's SHow-Actually had Donna and Eric get married and have kids, could have opened up so many opportunities, show tanked after Eric left...

For Twin Peaks I'd really like to trim down the entire back half of season 2 and do more with the revelation of Leland and Laura. Like they find out he was molesting his daughter, and they just move on like nothing?

But to narrow it down to one thing, definitely wouldn't do the Cooper/Annie plot and instead keep the focus on Audrey. Get rid of Billy Zane too

I know the circumstances behind the scenes, but if I had the power to somehow change it I would. I'd probably veto the "evil Cordy gets killed by Angel after a sword fight because we need to do a gender flipped Becoming Part 2" storyline to begin with.

Walking Dead - Where do I even start. Lets just call the first season good. But that second season? I'd just have scrapped most of that. Way too much "Where is Coral!!??" and nothing episodes, punctuated by granted a couple of great moments with the discovery of Sophia and then the death of Shane at the end. I'd have melded Seasons 2 and 3 together and made the farm stuff much shorter. Or made it more interesting with less talk about housewives. There are tons more problems with the show that I had as it progressed but that Season 2 really stood out to me.

Angel- I'd add a werewolf owned casino in season 1. The Originals did that and I thought that would've been perfect for Angel.

Buffy- Xander joins the initiative in season 4 and becomes a POV character.

Once upon a time in Wonderland- the Knave of Hearts fills the role of Genie for Aladdin. He lends himself to comedy more than Cyrus.

Being Human UK- a crossover with Misfits as Tom and Kelly find out they are related to each other. In real life their actors are fraternal twins.

Legend of Korra: Set in when Korra is just a little child and make Tenzin the main character struggling to live up to his father's legacy as the Last Airbender. Tenzin, Lin, Su, and Varrick were all better characters than Korra and her friends, so I think the show would have been better if it focused on the adults rather than the teenagers.

The Defenders- I'd change the villians from the Hand to the Wrecking Crew and make it more seperate from the others. Nando v Movies did a series rewriting the Defenders so here you go.

The Inhumans- I'd scrap the show and have them be apart of a Agents of SHIELD future season. It kills two bird with one stone. The Agents need a cool Avengers level threat and the Inhumans need an accessible POV characters.
