But, while he may not be your Superman, he is Superman. We're talking about comic book movies here lol. And if he gets this movie made and it's good, imagine the impact that could have on a new generation of fans.

That's not to say we're not going to get more white, cinematic Superman. This is a given. And I think those projects could coexist, especially if DC and WB really solidify their Elseworlds brand/franchises. "It's All Connected" becomes "It All Matters".

I'm not holding my breath, but it's a nice thought.

Like I said I don't really have a problem with this if the movie is good that's great �� i do however have a problem with JJ having anything to do with this I have no faith in the guy.

I mean I am just messing with you now but does speak something that comics fans don't want to admit, they are other comic interpretations of concepts. Saying you want characters to just look like the comic version doesn't mean the same thing today. Today world you have to say I prefer the original which is fine but I can say you had 3 movies and a current TV show with him in it. What is wrong with using another "comic" version of the concept in a movie?

I can't see the picture but really im okay with whatever as long as it's a good movie and not a gimmick for instance I really like the 2015 human torch. My real problem is JJ being involved. Lol

I liked many things about Abrams star trek, it's just never lived up to its potential in the end. also JJ quickly running to star wars because it was the far more popular and the cooler franchise made me dislike him as a director, which sometimes extends to his films.
