Default What Singer / Band would you like a film made based on their life?

Not so much a documentary as a scripted film (maybe based on an autobiography) with actors. What singer or band would you like to see a film made based on their life?

I'd love to see one on Stevie Nicks - and I'd like Cameron Crowe to direct it. Not sure who I would want to star in it though.

Unless there is a scripted non-documentary film on The Rolling Stones (and I do not believe there is...?), then of course The Rolling Stones.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

Rolling Stones, definitely. I would say Jimi Hendrix also.

Assuming we would somehow get something approaching the true story:
    -- Frank Sinatra
    -- The Rolling Stones
    -- Tom Waits
    -- Slipknot

There's at least two out there about Jimi. One was super low-budget that had Vivica Fox in it for like five minutes. There's another one that looks like it might be better that starred Andre 2000 from Outkast. Neither movie uses Hendrix's actual music though.

I mean, it has to be The Fall really, doesn't it? Barry Keoghan would make a pretty phenomenal young Mark E Smith, and then maybe Jodie Comer as Brix and Tom Holland as Marc Riley.

Also, someone should do a movie about the Zamrock movement in 1970s Zambia, which has to be a pretty amazing story.
