I'm really hoping this is the case.

I'm totally in even without Legion, because Nightcrawler is an excellent character and Spurrier an excellent writer. To explore this new era of mutant society along with Kurt is something I look forward to -- but if Si also manages to make this some kind of follow-up to his Legion series, I'm going to go full-on Marvel Zombie.

You were Spider-Man then. You and Peter had agreed on it. But he came back right when you started feeling comfortable.
You know what it means when he comes back

How this works, what that does, what goes on the map here, what are the rules for this. It’s fun and we all do it. But go too far and it’s death. It’s literal narrative death. One of the many unexpected obligations of a storyteller is knowing that being specific isn’t always smart."

It speaks to the ideas about how we as readers can ultimately shoot ourselves in the entertainment brain/foot when we allow our expectations get the better of us.
If only the rest of the fandom can understand this and not demand how Logan wipes his butt.

    Nevertheless, I cannot wait!

Let’s hope it’s not Pixie. Or Loa. Or Blink.

Kittie Pryde? Haha. I won’t go there. That’s never gonna happen. But I felt I’d throw that in to ruffle some feathers.

Maybe it is Rachel? Some break up sex? Idk.

Bloody Bess maybe coming in for a booty call?

    Moira? Poor Banshee.
No Amanda (no loss, I have nothing against the character apart from the near incest)
No to the kids, Si specifically notes the generational difference between Kurt and the younger characters.
    Kitty, I don’t think so.
Ray, I hope not, that relationship didn’t do either of them any favours, they’re so much better as friends.
Bloody Bess a Chris Claremont pet character, so I doubt it.
    Moira? I doubt it.
    Someone new?

Personally, I’d just like to see Kurt socialising with his team, he’s never lived alone, Krakoa must be awfully lonely for him.
I’d take him having a beer with Logan or Pete or a tea with Ororo at this point.
He’s everyone’s shoulder to lean on, who does he turn to for support?

Thinking back to Spurrier's X-force run and considering his comment in the interview about the issue of wanting every tiny detail adressed or question answered, i guess we shouldn't ask how Marrow could be welcomed as mutant on Krakoa when she got her powers back via the Morituri Process which essentialy filled the gap left by her missing X-gene?

Then again, the depowered mutants never really stopped being mutants, they merely missed the catalyst to activate their powers in form of the X-gene. So i guess Xavier just let it slide as "good enough to count".

I love Spur speeches. And looking forward to Nemesis jerky explanabrags, his transformation, Pixie wholesomeness, and like NXM rescue shelter vibe this book gives off.

But I'm kinda disappointed in Kurt fandom: not one question about his special friend Logan showing up? Who's holding Logurt torch nowadays? smh

Woah! I HAVE TO PUT IT ON A READING PILE. One very smart internet person raves about JSaMN, and I think that after 6 years it's nigh time I escape into that magical world.

I think it’s me (100+ fanfic and art) but I’m lulling Si into a false sense if security... don’t want to appear too mad. Yet.
We have an astonishing number of mutual friends though, I was on a zoom on Sunday when someone name checked him in a writing course they were on.

She does something genuinely new and interesting with the themes, which is rare these days.

Most of the stuff in 2021 is art, as I got an iPencil for Christmas and it’s New Toy. I’ve been slashing them for 41 years, not likely to stop now.

I've only ever been to church for funerals and weddings. Religion doesn't make sense to me. It is like heroin or golf. I know a lot of people do it but I can't understand why.
