I think, like anything else it will be all about the execution.

I feel the same. Wonder if they'll take cues from Legendary Defender instead of Lion Force.

Either way, so long as they steer clear of Vehicle Team Voltron, I'll be happy.

I wish it the best, but I don't see it doing well.

Too much teenage angst, and you have Power Rangers.

I might lean a bit more towards Pacific Rim, the first one not the second.

I'm going to go see Volton cause I want to see a live action Volton summon his sword and cut a beast in half, but I don't want that only in the last 5 minutes.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

I really hope the lions aren't giant walking garbage piles like in the Bay Transformers films and they actually try to base the designs off one of the animated versions.

I hope Voltron doesn't look like the Megazord from the Power Rangers movie.
