Favourite FLASH artist - Wally West edition

Same as the Barry version - who's your favourite Wally West artist??

I voted in my own poll, and had to go with Oscar Jimenez. He wasn't on the title for a long time, but I LOVED his work!
Setting up the poll it became apparent just how lucky we were as Flash fans.

Yikes!!! This was a tough one! Ultimately, I went with Mike Wieringo as he was the artist when I started reading.

Greg LaRocque under Messner-Loebs' scripts is classic obviously and Scott Kolins was great during Johns' time but I believe Howard Porter nailed the vibrant and modern look that Wally's era was always looking for.

So no Pre-Crisis artists allowed then.

Loads of great choices but Jimenez takes it as far as I'm concerned. Suck a kinetic look to his art.

That's what OTHER is for Jim!!

My bad on that one, I took it from Wally taking over the title, not from his introduction.
I also posted a favourite Barry artist which might scratch the pre Crisis itch. (Unless you're voting for Perez - dammit! Too many great artists to remember!!)

Personally, I like the design for Kid Flash more than the design for Flash. From the moment I saw it, I just thought it was really cool. But I think you need to have the right hair for that look--the Shield, Kid Flash, Lightray.

I know they are both designed by Carmine Infantino, so either way, he done good. Besides Infantino, my favourite artists for Kid Flash are Nick Cardy, George Perez and Irv Novick.

When it comes to grown-up Wally in the red suit (returning to his original outfit), while I like Mike Wieringo's work, he didn't follow the rule established by Infantino, and gave Flash too much mass. The Flash has to have a runner's body. Greg LaRocque was probably the best--a nice clean style. The inking on Scott Kolins distressed me.
