Apparently Infinite Frontier #0 is getting a second printing, Bryan Hitch did the cover with what they are calling Final Darkseid.

"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
Hmm, so he just entirely gray/black.
The cape would cover his muscles in the silhouette. Cape is more majestic but also floaty, and the image of Darkseid for me is either him sitting or standing firmly with hands behind his back, like a towering rock.
It's a different image from a cloaked/caped villain, pretty unique, because usually muscles = brute, but he's not a brute.
He's like a mountain that you shouldn't disturb, a Titan, once he move, you're dead.
Of course since he's a sitting rock or standing mountain, too much accessory like in Jim Lee's version doesn't fit the image. Simple is best.
I say they can go even simpler by not giving him those boots, since those boots look light and I want the feeling of weight.
Who was the first one to use the Omega symbol on Darkseid? I'm guessing Howard Porter on JLA?
Now that I’ve read it;
1) I wonder how the justice society and the seven soldiers are going to play in this continuity. Green lantern coming out seemed a little weird.
2) I really don’t like the direction they’re going to take Jon Kent in; no thanks to super tyrant. They might as well de- age him and leave him on the back burner until someone can develop him right.
3) ah, Gotham, as bleak as ever. Not a town I want to spend time in.
4) I wonder where stargirl is going to fit in; I liked king Midas; I wouldn’t mind if he showed up on the tv series. Maybe he could do a commercial selling mufflers.
5) Hippolyta isn’t impressing me with her attitude. I wonder if she’s going to be giving yara some trouble. I like the idea of Nubia leading the Amazon’s, but I’d kind of rather see her as Wonder Woman.
