I can't wait to see all the people who are advocating for this cut to bend over backwards trying to defend Snyder's creative decisions. I mean it gets pretty ridiculous on twitter.com, but on youtube its just as bad. Can't tell you the number of "fans" were excited and joyed about Snyder's WW pic featuring decapitated heads. The excuse being Snyder slapping and elsworlds on the end of his tweet.

So, I guess my question right now is, What do we know is confirmed/speculated to happen to Wonder Woman and her universe in the Snyder Cut?

Snyder cast an old Jimmy Olsen actor as a cop that shows up when Supes gets resurrected and I’ve been saying he’ll probably have Supes kill “Jimmy” again just to be petty lol.
In this movie nothing major happens I believe. It was only in JL2 and JL3 that stuff was going to get really stupid.
For when my rants on the forums just aren’t enough: https://thevindicativevordan.tumblr.com/
We were close to getting that version of Wonder Woman too, Patty talked WB out of it.
Everyone is entitled to their own interpretation of a fictional character, but from a marketing standpoint that kind of Wonder Woman in the main cinematic universe would have been much harder to sell to a wider audience.
I also think a lot of directors/writers get "violent women" and "powerful women" confused, and it feels like Snyder is one of those people since many of his "powerful women" are hyper violent.
I saw that clip too spoilers:end of spoilers
Wonder Woman throws them against the walls, she's brutal. It looks so badass though, I almost kind of enjoyed it just for that reason, she looks very powerful. She flies btw
At least she flies in this, probably not as fast as Superman like she should but its whatever. Zack knows that powerful badass women in reveling clothing sells tickets regardless of quality (looks at sucker punch).
Yeah aside from maybe a few decent action scenes I'm not paying for HBO max just to watch a bad interpretation of my fave comic-verse.

Wake up man! Cant you tell that this is the real world?? It's nothing like those saturday morning cartoons shows you grew up watching. There is murder, death, corruption, wars fought over lies and banks embezzling in the billions. We need heroes who are willing to do whatever it takes for us to survive in this nightmarish hellhole!
*For the record, I'm being satirical and sarcastic.
LOL!
Yeah, I feel adding real world elements can ground a story, but Snyder tries so hard to make it the opposite of a light-hearted cartoon that it comes off just as silly. Also I think people confuse "gritty" and "realistic" a lot.

Also if Snyder was going to include the Legion of Doom and not have them needlessly break Luthor's furniture to show how evil they are, then what's the point. WHAT'S THE POINT?!?!?!
Little of both.
Snyder did the "resurrected Superman fights the League" scene, so I have little reason to believe Diana is going to fare any better than she does in the theatrical version. Superman is going to swoop in and fight Steppenwolf, as he does in the theatrical. The Knightmare bad future is going to be featured more prominently, and I understand it's kicked off with Darkseid killing Lois, Superman turning evil, and Diana being murdered by either Clark or Darkseid.
The only significant difference that I'm aware of as far as Wonder Woman's concerned--as Snyder's gleefully bragged about for years--is that his version will have Diana chop Steppenwolf's head off instead of just breaking his axe-hammer-thing...which I guess, in his mind, proves she's a bad-ass despite, you know, getting crushed by Superman, rag-dolled SteppingWolf, and doing nothing of value.
Also pretty sure the Amazons are still going to be slaughtered en masse.
But maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe Diana will hold her own against Supes when he throws his resurrection tantrum? Maybe Steppenwolf's defeat will be an actual team effort and not just wasting time until Superman trashes him with two punches and Diana is granted the pittance of a kill shot? Maybe we'll be spared seeing her brutalized in the Knightmare scenes?
But I doubt it very much.
Well, I guess there won't be a Flash falling into her chest joke this time.
