The U-Foes are related in a similar way than the Fantastic Four, with a marriage, the woman's little brother and a good friend. They are closer to be the Fantastic Four's evil counterparts than the Frightful Four.

They also purposefully went into space to gain powers "just like the Fantastic Four", if I am not mistaken.

She always wore a green outfit. In her gaseous form, I have only seen her as green, but I do not know if that was from what she wore or the type of gas into which she transformed.

Which is why it's best for the Spider-Office to loan them out to other departments. In exchange, the respective department(Spidey characters loaned to) allow the Spider-Office the opportunity to use some of their respective rogues and supporting characters for a story arc. This would exposed readers to characters who has never encountered Spidey and vice versa. It adds depth that has not been seen...

I wouldn't mind them popping in for maybe one issue, but they are simply not interesting enough characters to become reoccurring villains for Spidey. They have been around forever and they are still pretty forgettable Hulk adversaries. No amount of Spider-man comic appearances will change that. (Honestly, I always briefly confuse them with the "U-Men" from the X-books.)

And as a corollary to that, will simply plunking them into Spidey's world guarantee more than "Oh, they exist?"
