Yeah Hickman needs to get over his hard-on for this retro Jean Grey uniform. She deserved a modernized new uniform for the Krakoa era since the beginning.

Hickman isnt the artist and he isnt even the creator on this book. Jean is being used in other titles wearing other costumes. (X-men Red on Dautermann's covers, X-Factor in X-men recently, Jim Lee suit in S.W.O.R.D. upcoming). This here is likely Larraz

I agree with everyone here. Every time I see Jean in the 60s get up, I'm like "what a downgrade". i have similar feelings toward Rogue's current outfit to be fair

Hickman is literally the reason that uniform came back. The only reason we got a Dauterman uniform is because Dauterman told Hickman he wanted to give Jean Grey a new look in Giant Size. It definitely is up to Hickman to not push the retro look. I mean he has said it in interviews that he chose it.

but you are ignoring that other artists are currently not drawing it. Booth just didnt in a book written by Hickman and Jean's 90s costume is about to return. Larraz going back to the MG suit here isnt bc Hickman made him

While the gala is on the way, Planet-Size X-Men 01 might just feature the four Omegas terraforming Mars as the new Krakoan/Mutant outpost...hence the name.
