    Default Wonder Woman #770 Discussion/Spoilers

This was a refreshing change of pace! They nailed Diana's characterization pretty well and the art was fantastic for the first time since Janin's short stint. The interplay of action & humor was fun too. I wonder who it is that is trying to reach Diana in Valhalla? The large snowman creature in Valhalla with blue eyes w leads me to believe that is a version of the Blue Snowman transformed to fit into the Valhalla setting. I get the feeling we'll see more of Diana's rogues transformed to fit into the Gods Sphere as she takes her journey home.

That would actually be fun to have some golden age villains appear in the Norse mythos.

Jotunn Giganta please, it right there in front of you writers. And of course Gundra, maybe she betrayed her kind and are the reason the Valkyrie have gone missing.

    Solid first issue.

Diana getting hammered was pretty funny.

Based on the silhouette and the colors, the mystery person could be Deadman? Possibly? Also can we keep Siegfried, I already like him better than Steve.

It was a good first issue, I thoroughly enjoyed it and already am in love with Dianas new crush. Depending on how things play out, wouldnt mind him joining the greater DC world.

Why was Diana naked at that guy's place? Seemed so random

Really solid beginning. I think the is the most promising first issue of a run we've had since the Lies Part 1.

Here's to a hopefully long and epic run!

They got drunk and had a really hot make-out session that apparently came this close to uh...doing the do.

“You see…the rest of them are soldiers. But [Wonder Woman] is an artist.”

I only support the made of clay origin.

Backup story was nice also even though there's some amusing tonal whiplash compared to the main story.

But it had Jumpa so there's that also.

Speaking of the backup story...is it supposed to be "canon" or is just going to be some random story of Diana as a kid that leads nowhere in particular?

It's in the main book so I'm guessing it's canon.

It's a bit of both isn't it? I assume it's canon since there's nothing particular I recall that would zig with Diana's current zag but just a story set at different time of her life.

I really enjoyed this. Might be one of the strongest debut issues I’ve read on WW since Rucka’s first run.

I wonder why writers often shy away from Diana having a sex life. Would it have been so bad if she and Siegfried had done it? (I would have!)

Overall, it was a very solid start to what I hope will be a good story. The writing was great & art was stunning.
