It’s disliked here but to put it in perspective: it’s the only WW run I know that’s gotten Absolutes and Omnibuses and has been consistently kept in print. A lot of casuals view N52 Azz WW as one of the great runs alongside Snyder Batman and Johns JL.

Neither Snyder's Batman nor Johns JL are great. Azz WW sits nicely next to actual good stuff like Morrison's Action Comics

And its not like it was disliked here universally, back when it was published I'd say it was even split between those who loved it and those who hated it. Things changed only during Rucka's run when most of us lost interest in WW's ongoing.

Great. More bad news. The best thing that could happen to WW if somebody else got the copyright to her character and mythos.

What makes you think that someone else won't just follow the New 52 set up?

I probably should have phrased it as 'somebody who gets the characters get to own the copyright'.
