Correct. Madin (one of the Morlocks) from that run was written to be non-binary or trans, although allegedly the editors would not allow that to be explicitly stated on-panel for some reason. There is reference to it in one of the letters pages though, and you can pick up on it in Madin's portrayal. I get the impression that Madin is supposed to be a person of colour but due to their mutation giving them purple skin, its hard to say for sure.
