It is not really my dream team but I always thought that Shield or Military based Avengers team would be interesting to see.

Not really my dream roster, but one I like, and got some good feedback on when I posted it before.
Think of it as a grown up/Marvel version of the original Teen Titans; Robin, Wonder Girl, Speedy, Aqualad, Kid Flash.
It gives us a pretty volatile but potentially effective team.

The Avengers – This would be my flipside to Zemo's large Masters of Evil. This would be one large team, divided in three specialities (four, if you count the brain trust). The team could be divided into smaller squads that would include specialists from the three sub-groups. However, this'd truly be Earth's Mightiest Heroes, able to take on all commers. Muscle, brains, skill, fire-powers, they'd have it all in spades.

• Captain America – The ultimate leader. Leads the team’s infantry.
• Iron Man – Leads the Power Brigade. Also belongs to the Brain Trust.
• Thor - The Big Guns squad.
• Wasp – The unstoppable infantry.
• Yellowjacket – The Power Brigade. Also belongs to the Brain Trust.
• Hawkeye – The unstoppable infantry.
• Scarlet Witch – The Power Brigade.
• Quicksilver - The unstoppable infantry.
• Hercules – The Big Guns squad.
• Black Panther – The unstoppable infantry. Also belongs to the Brain Trust.
• Vision – The Power Brigade. Also belongs to the Brain Trust.
• Black Knight - The unstoppable infantry. Also belongs to the Brain Trust,
• Black Widow – The unstoppable infantry.
• Moon Dragon – The unstoppable infantry. Also belongs to the Brain Trust.
• Falcon - The unstoppable infantry.
• Captain Marvel – Leads the Big Guns squad.

Doesnt necessarily have to be an Avengers roster but this would be my line up.

The top 3 would be my Trinity of sorts in the same vein of DC’s Trinity and ironically doing the B,C,D thing that Bruce, Clark and Diana do but with Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Doctor Strange.

Doctor Strange as the sorcerer supreme would be the teams lead, when it comes to all things mystical
Captain Marvel as the self appointed boss of space would be the teams lead when it comes to all things cosmic
Black Panther as experienced as being a king and inventor, would be the teams lead in the field as to strategy as well as the tech guy

Juggernaut would serve the role as the teams wild card. The Trinity of sorts would keep their eye on him to make sure he doesn’t go beserk akin to Hulk, or current She Hulk, Ghost Rider. He’d be struggling with the whole Avatar of Cytorrak thing and being operating at levels where he’s punching holes in reality akin Miss America Chavez but out of pure strength/force.

Gamora would be a scout, traveling through the galaxy finding out information on possible threats. I’d probably give her a relationship with Cain Marko.

Black Bolt would be one of those safe guards along Dr. Strange and whatever device T’Challa came up with to keep Juggernaut in check. He’d also be a way to open up holes into other realities. I’d have him switch out every once in awhile with Medusa akin to Aquaman/Mera. His inclusion mainly was due to being a personal favorite and wanting to see more of the Inhumans. I’d put him pretty close to the top 3 of the team having been in the Illuminati with Stephen and T’Challa, both being kings with the latter and with Carol play up their connection with the Kree and possible distrust that gives them with the Kree.


I might make my Trinity all from 616 as well as Black Bolt and make Gamora and Juggs from a different Universe.

outdated by now but i did liked the roster that showed up at alpha flight 98. a good balance of street tactical , raw physical power and aerial cosmic powers.
