.... Is Firestar prioritized by any writers? It seems like nobody really cares, unfortunately. Do the X-Men editors keep her locked down? She's only had a fleeting membership going back to Jason Aaron's tenure as a writer. Mostly she has been in the New Warriors and Avengers.

Aside from being shown in background in X-Books I really don't think she is being used.

After the Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends cartoon....she was brought into 616 by the X-Office in her limited series and one issue of X-Men...so I assume she is theirs even though most of her publication history was in New Warriors and Avengers.

Maybe she's been a supervillain for most of her powered life, but she's shown signs of heroism lately, and who knows, she can finally step out of She-Hulk's shadow.
