But what's the best and what shall I stick with?

I have decided on the omnibus for SWs purely because it will be too pricey for purchasing the single issues separately sadly.

Any help with the any of the questions would be greatly appreciated!

Is there any disadvantage with the omnibuses? If I wanted to buy print that's what I'd stick with. More convenient imo. I'd probably go with hardcover to store them more easily. I don't like collecting and storing single issues. It's just a hassle. But that's me.

The only reason I can think of for buying the single issues is for resale value.

Not a huge amount of disadvantages I suppose for the omnibuses, it is certainly more convenient. I do like to buy the odd collection of the original single issues for the pure love of the medium. For example, have decided to buy all of the 'evolutionary war' story in single issues. Primarily from eBay. Not sure how many I will purchase that way though...

So are all the major storylines put into collections? Would they be in Marvel Unlimited as well?

Not sure.

The issues would be there... but I assume the collected edition would have different issues from different titles forming the same story arc all collected together. On Marvel Unlimited you have to find the separate issues.

Ok thanks. I'm just wondering because it might be easier to read all the connected issues of one storyline at once rather than finding them individually in MU
