I'll buy issue 1, not sold on the idea but intrigued.Could be cool

Also funny how literally every other Spider-hero is loved and Peter is hated.

Jonah's many years of dedicated "Spider-Man is a menace" media branding really had an impact, that's for sure.

Funny enough, ever since Jonah stopped calling Spider-Man a menace . . . well, psychological inertia is a thing. Once people have decided how they feel and think about something or someone, they have a very hard time changing course. Also, Peter's Spider-Man isn't always universally hated; there've been plenty of occasions where people have expressed that they don't buy into Jonah's rants, and The Daily Bugle's struggles for relevancy in more recent years are the result of its reputation taking a hit because of Jonah's anti-Spider-Man crusade being constantly discredited by Spider-Man's feats of heroism, not to mention all the retractions Jonah's had to publish whenever Spider-Man gets (inevitably) proven innocent of whatever he's been accused of on any given day. Come to think of it, it's probably because of Peter's Spider-Man that his successors and spinoffs generally have better public reception; he's established a widely trusted and respected brand that has stood the test of time and proven incorruptible regardless of Jonah's attempts to smear him (and the Beyond Corporation's present attempts to coopt said brand), so people are more inclined to trust and respect anyone bearing a/the Spider-Mantle than they would have been in years past.

That scene of her in civilian mode makes it look like she's aged a few years.

He def. has, it makes sense why NYC loves him.

I'm just saying it makes no sense why other Spiders get virtually 0 hate in comparison to Spider-man.

Hmm, yeah? Maybe it's the art, though it's been at least 2 years in-universe since she got out of the bunker, I think, so . . .

Mostly because people in-universe know better by now. Aside from when the plot calls for it, the public generally knows and trusts the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and extends that same trust to his allies bearing similar iconography.

    Oh yeah.

It's also more rampant in the Superhero community, they try to make it so that Superheroes hate Peter for his jokes but most of the other Spiders make the same amount of jokes and yet no one ever calls them out for it.

It's so weird since Peter has done more than most of them(the superheroes and/or the Spiders) and they know it.Not like they're meeting for the first time.Writers make heroes have a hate-b*ner for Pete for no reason.

Also any news on Agents of Atlas rn, haven't kept up w/ them but maybe I should

And depending on the writer, the other superheroes aren't slouches on the whole "quipping and bantering" front, so that shouldn't be it, either. At least Nick Spencer attempted to justify it somewhat by having them explain that they were more put off by him not socializing with them as much as he used to when he was an Avenger, as well as that it was a lot easier to be suspicious of him --- thanks partly to Mayor Fisk's campaign to make himself and Spider-Man look like allies and previously the Superior Spider-Man debacle --- when he wouldn't (or couldn't) bring himself to open up emotionally to them. As for Agents of Atlas, the last one was Atlantis Attacks, which ended with a King in Black tie-in, and this Silk mini is apparently going to reunite her with Luna Snow, the K-pop superstar-slash-superhero with powers over ice and cold and fellow member of Jimmy Woo's Agents of Atlas. Should be interesting to see.

Absolutely, but they have said it's the quips which makes little sense at best.

Yeah, again stupid since we know they know each other far better than that but better than nothing.I hope they explore that angle and bring it back full circle.

    Thanks!

When she first got out of the bunker, of course she'd dress and act like she was still a teenager. But she's really Peter's age, not Gwen's or Miles', so it makes sense she'd develop a more mature look?

Yeah, that does make sense. Maybe she finally feels like a woman in her proper late 20's .
