Destiny. Mystique will have grown tired of Xavier and Magneto's objections and delays and she goes to Sinister, who is delighted to help. Moira is revealed at the Gala accidentally and Destiny appears briefly in the crowd, putting the look of terror on Moira and she is on edge.

Noticing that the resurrection protocols are a de facto defense against depowering for most mutants. If you lose your powers, you can die and resurrect to get them back.

Maddie showing up in the same dress as Jeannie — all crazy hostile, maybe drunk or coked out of her mind, and having a conniption would be the bee’s knees!!!

I envision wine thrown in the face, and a wine glass thrown and shattered. It has to be red wine, too — make a mess!

Imagine the anger and crying:

(Maddie stabs her finger in the air toward Young Cable after throwing wine in Jeannie’s face, while still holding the mostly empty wine glass with a broken stem, and makeup running down her crying face. She throws the glass in Young Cable’s direction, shattering with a red wine splash at his feet.)

I’d buy that comic in a heartbeat.

Would be interesting if Banner/Immortal Hulk crashed the gala assuming he wasn't formally invited. Emma thinking that he's too low class or unimportant to attend and he shows up anyway, talk about fireworks. Maybe the "One Below All" could be his plus one.
