This series was the first solo Hawkman stories I read-I got into DC big time in high school. The only Hakwman stories I read as a kid were JLA stories he was in.

I've got nothing against the Golden Age Hawkman - he was the original.
But Katar Hol is my Hawkman. He's the one I grew up with and loved. I really miss him and Shayera.
