If it was cross universe the justice league would be invited to krakoa for brunch and given the theme of the gala dresscode ahead of time alongside a hand written invitation and a table just for them AND each gets to chose a personal dish.

The avengers get an instagram dm and told to dress casually a day before, so everyone can roast them when they show up in jeans and tuxedo blazers and whatever seats remain at the table next to the bathroom and whatever cocktail shrimp falls to the floor.

I bet Janet's not even designing stuff any more. She does own a second company, Pym Labs, after all (inherited from Hank). Nadia's GIRL is a subsidiary of it. Between that and superheroics does she have time for fashion design any more? I can see her leaving it to other staff.

Scotts stepped in to help the Champions before, he could vouch for her. Plus the Champions are wanted by the govt/disliked the public, mutants are huge bleeding hearts for that shit. Worked for Spidey
