The big change is there were no families. It was all radioactive wasteland used to power their base. I didn't mind that part really.

I do miss the personal factor, with respect to the family that was rescued by Flash. No one really rescued anyone, they just defeated bad guys. Rescuing is such an easy thing to include. Why not do it?

To be honest, 4 years removed and that family still feels tacked on, and unncessary with no purpose except to be rescued, the rescue in itself wasn't that fulfilling since I didn't particularly care for them, and they were eating screen time that could be used elsewhere. We did get our share of rescuing in the first big fight with Steppenwolf anyway. I liked the explanation that the place is radioactive so there wouldn't be anyone there, because logically why would there be? If Parademons are flying around surveying the entire area? Any body living there would have been caught and killed the moment they settled down.

Just finished it. Ok. So first of all it didn't need to be 4 hours long period. The first few acts especially were self indulgent, derivative and slow. After about the 15th slow mo shot with "choir" or orchestral score I was literally rolling my eyes. Way too overdone just to be long and "different". The scene where they sang whatever Viking hymnal that was when Arthur swam away up north and the village choir chick smelled his sweater? WTF was that? I mean yeah girl he hot but in a 4 hour movie did I need that sequence really? Girl bye..

I've seen this scene come up in some reviews, and I'm eagerly looking forward to it. Is it as funny as I'm imagining it to be?

I have a question about Apokolips and Krypton.

Both version's Steppenwolf obviously knew the existence of Kryptonians, and it was said all their previous invasion were successful.

So I guess probably Apokolips once launched invasion against the Kryptonians' outside of their homeworld but failed, so they didn't try to attack Krypton?

What do you want to be canon? That's all that matters. It's not like it's an official thing that all fans must bow to.
